Hypothyroidism means reduced thyroxine hormone in the body in which the thyroid gland doesn’t produce enough thyroid hormone. Serum FT4, low or low normal, Serum TSH – Elevated


Synthetic Levothyroxine replacement is the primary treatment. Hypothyroid with pregnancy should be treated carefully and early as it may hamper the CNS development of fetus.
